Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with over 10 years of expertise in leveraging Microsoft Power BI and data technologies to deliver insightful, data-driven decisions across various global industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing interactive dashboards, scalable data models, and optimizing business processes to provide actionable insights. This role requires a highly skilled professional proficient in Power Query, DAX, SQL, Python, and a range of Microsoft and cloud-based technologies. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, guiding data-driven decision-making in complex business environments and supporting a range of functions including HR, Production, Sales, Marketing, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain over 90+ interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring the presentation of meaningful business insights to key stakeholders across various departments such as HR, production, and sales.
• Human Resource Analytics: Analyze key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, retention of talent, absenteeism, overtime hours, employee productivity, cost of training, cost per hire, and diversity within the company to help inform HR strategies.
• Data Warehousing & Cloud Integration: Manage data migration and integration from local systems to the cloud (Azure SQL). Utilize tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Blob Storage, and Azure SQL to transform flat files (CSV, Excel, zip files) into structured data ready for use in Power BI.
• Production Efficiency Monitoring: Develop dashboards to monitor key production metrics such as Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), raw material usage, material wastage, and overall production. Help drive a 4% improvement in efficiency and a 7% reduction in waste.
• Sales & Marketing Analytics: Create sales reports that analyze overall sales trends, sales by region, and customer-wise performance. Leverage comparative analysis to evaluate the performance of regions based on the same KPIs. Identify trends around sales during holidays and other special events.
• Sales Forecasting: Implement regression models for precise sales forecasting using Python, NumPy, and Pandas, improving forecasting accuracy by 10%.
• Customer Segmentation: Use clustering algorithms and machine learning techniques to segment customers, enhancing targeted marketing strategies.
• Churn Prediction: Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict customer churn, providing actionable insights for customer retention strategies.
• ETL Development: Develop and optimize ETL processes using Power Query, SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and other relevant tools to ensure accurate and timely data processing and integration.
• Cloud Technologies: Work with Microsoft Azure, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure SQL to manage and process large datasets efficiently in a cloud-based environment.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, automate reporting tasks, and improve the overall efficiency of business operations.
• Project Management: Apply Agile methodology for managing timelines, risks, and project efforts, ensuring the timely delivery of data analytics projects with high accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on Power BI, Microsoft data technologies, and cloud-based solutions (Azure).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and SQL (T-SQL, Stored Procedures).
  • Experience with Python for data analysis (NumPy, Pandas).
  • Strong working knowledge of Qlik Sense, Tableau, SSRS, and Excel.
  • Expertise in ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, and Azure SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Blob Storage and Azure SQL.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified in Power BI and Data Analyst (preferred).
• Statistical Analysis: Understanding of statistical concepts (Mean, Median, Mode, Z-Score, Regression, Feature Selection, etc.).
• Project Management Skills: Strong background in time management, risk management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets, derive insights, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Industry Expertise: Experience working across various industries such as retail, manufacturing, supply chain, pharma, energy, HR, production, and sales.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced analytical techniques such as Random Forest and Model Optimization.
• Knowledge of Qlik Queries and familiarity with Business Analyst responsibilities.
• Experience in data warehousing and data validation.
